Endowment giving
The Next Stage Campaign (1998-2003) raised $50 million to build the
new Folino Theatre Center, including the 336 seat Julianne Argyros Stage,
the renovated Segerstrom Stage, and the complete redesign of The Nicholas
Studio.
Although we were successful in acquiring resources to complete the expansion
of the theatre, we still need to grow our endowment to secure the future
of South Coast Repertory (SCR).
Gifts to SCR’s endowment will provide stability through variable
economic times. Through careful investment, the endowment will
support our artistic and educational work, and ensure that our physical
plant remains in peak condition.
Endowment gifts may be allocated to the following areas of need:
- Theatre for Young Audiences
- • Support three annual productions
- • Commission major new work
