This is a class for students that have moved beyond basics of improvisation and want a more intense experience. Instructor Greg Atkins' no-nonsense, high-energy approach to improvisation will help students break through fear of the unknown and prepare them for any acting challenge, whether on stage or off. Using the beginning improv class as a springboard, this class will show students how to:

Prerequisite: Improvisation I or similar improvisation experience.

Greg Atkins has written and/or created shows for DreamWorks, Buena Vista, Sony, Fox, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, the Torch Ceremonies for the Atlanta and Salt Lake City Olympics, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, the Walt Disney Co., as well as numerous corporate clients and was a consultant on "Who's Line is it Anyway." Greg’s latest book IMPROV! is in its 19th printing and his many published plays are being produced around the world (see www.samuelfrench.com, www.bakersplays.com, and www.hitplays.com). As a director/performer, Greg travels with an international team of improv actors to such exotic locals as Prague, Singapore, New Delhi and Irvine. Greg has worked at South Coast Repertory as a playwright, director, actor or teacher for 30+ years.
