Professional Actor Training is a nationally renowned eight-week intensive summer program for serious acting students 18 and over. Now in its 41st year, the program puts the finishing touches on training for careers in theatre, film and television. Its goals are:
All classes are held in the stimulating environment of Tony Award-winning South Coast Repertory, one of the nation's leading resident theatres. A distinguished faculty of working theatre artists provides the highest quality instruction. SCR’s access to Southern California's entertainment industry allows the program to offer special seminars by distinguished guest artists drawn from the area's rich pool of theatre, film and television professionals.
You may be able to get school credit for this program. Please speak with your instructor.

Among the graduates are Will Ferrell ("Saturday Night Live," The Other Guys), Allison Case (Hair! currently on Broadway) and Arye Gross (Donald Margulies' Brooklyn Boy and Richard Greenberg’s Our Mother’s Brief Affair and a recurring role on "Castle.")
