SUMMER THEATRE WORKSHOP is a two-week program for new students that allows children and teens to unlock their creative imaginations. Join a faculty of enthusiastic teachers to explore voice, movement, creative dramatics, play-making, and character development. Build self-esteem and confidence as part of SCR's exciting summer program. This is an excellent opportunity to explore the dramatic arts!

TUITION: All classes are $295 per session.

SESSION ONE
Monday, July 28 to Saturday, August 9, 2008
9:00 am - 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 4:00 PM

SESSION TWO
Monday, August 11 to Saturday, August 23, 2008
9:00 am - 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 4:00 PM

GRADES 3-6 Offering the youngest participants an exciting introduction to the magical world of theatre. (Classes in acting, improvisation, movement, and more.)

GRADES 7-8 Exploring with young artists the wonders of theatre and its related crafts. All the learning excitement culminates when students put on their own show in a demonstration project for invited family and friends!

GRADES 9-12 Involving teenaged newcomers in the creative process through theatre games, exercises, and basic script work. Top professionals in their fields share their expertise as actors, designers, and theatre specialists.
