NewSCRipts gives patrons the opportunity to be a part of SCR's new play development process at three Monday evening play readings (and series subscribers receive one Pacific Playwrights Festival reading as a bonus). NewSCRipts has provided a forum for talented writers for 24 years.
Past NewSCRipts readings include Donald Margulies' Collected Stories, Richard Greenberg's Three Days of Rain and Amy Freed's Freedomland, all of which went on to New York productions and were finalists for the Pulitzer Prize.

Tickets for the 2009-10 Season go on sale August 10.
