Amanda has put her music career on hold. It takes a while to write a symphony; besides, there are other considerations. She has a full-time job. Her boyfriend is about to become famous. Her mother is about to leave her father. And she’s about to connect with the one who got away, in this smart, very funny and often surprising look at a talented woman, the choices she makes and the men who impact those choices.

Recommendation and Resources:
This life-affirming comedy about men, women and fame contains some strong language and sexual innuendos but is also funny and light-hearted. High schoolers and above will identify with its romantic comedy aspects as well as the deeper theme that deals with the choices that shape our lives.
