For Teachers and Parents:
Are the shows at South Coast Repertory appropriate for my kids?
We believe that all of our shows are appropriate for 15+, however we understand that some audience members may be sensitive to certain content. The MyStage Guide has recommendations for each show. It lets MyStage members know in advance if there will be profanity, nudity or adult content in any of the shows.
I am already on your mailing/e-mail list. Can you sign up my kid for MyStage through my account?
Unfortunately, we cannot. The MyStage program was created to encourage young patrons to develop an individual appreciation for the arts. This includes empowering them to make their own choice to go to the theatre when they have received information about a show. Also, because MyStage is an age-restricted program, they must have their own account that will associate their birthday and year with them.
Can I attend the shows for the $10 discounted price, too?
Each MyStage member can purchase up to two (2) tickets per performances. It is up to the MyStage member to decide who they would like to bring, but they can bring a parent.
Can I sign up my kid/students for MyStage?
Yes, however we strongly encourage members to sign up themselves. If you do sign someone else up for MyStage, we recommend you let them know so they do not consider any e-mails or flyers they receive to be spam. Parents, use the sign-up above. Teachers, use this sign-up sheet (pdf) for your class.
