What’s the catch? No catch. MyStage is designed to fit the budget of theatergoers ages 15-25 so that they can see professional theatre at an affordable price.
I am 14/26-years-old. Am I eligible for MyStage? MyStage membership activates during the season you turn 15 and deactivates the season after you turn 26. So, for this season, if your 15th birthday is between September 9, 2011 – June 10, 2012, you can purchase $10 MyStage tickets. If your 26th birthday is between those dates, then it is your last season to purchase $10 MyStage tickets.
I stopped receiving MyStage e-mails. How do I renew my membership? Please e-mail mystage@scr.org or contact Peter at (714) 708-5569.

Ticketing FAQs
How many tickets can I purchase? Each MyStage member may purchase up to two (2) tickets per performance.
How do I purchase $10 MyStage tickets? When you sign up for MyStage you will be e-mailed a special MyStage promo code. You will use this code to get access to your $10 MyStage Tickets.
SCR accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express; cash and checks are accepted only at the SCR Box Office.
My guest is not 15- to 25-years old; can they still use my second ticket? Yes. The MyStage member who is 15- to 25-years old must purchase the ticket and attend the show, but they can use their second ticket for a guest of any age.
What performance dates can I get MyStage tickets? $10 MyStage tickets are available for any of the Segerstrom and Argyros season shows, excluding opening nights. Limited performance dates are available for A Christmas Carol.
Am I going to get access to only the crappy seats? No. MyStage tickets are available for section A and B seating. Both of our stages are relatively intimate, so there aren’t really any bad seats.
When can I purchase tickets? MyStage tickets are available approximately one month prior to the first preview of a performance. MyStage e-mails will remind you when tickets go on sale.
When do I get my tickets? Your actual tickets to the show can be picked up no earlier than two (2) hours prior to performance time. A valid ID will be required when picking up tickets.
Why can’t I pick up my actual tickets earlier? MyStage is a program just for you. Limiting ticket pick-up to two (2) hours prior to performance time is to ensure that you attend the show. (We have had some parents try to abuse their children’s MyStage membership so they could attend shows without their kids. Shame on them!)
Can I sit with my other friends who are MyStage members? Yes. Please call the box office at (714) 708-5555 for special seating requests, subject to availability.
I purchased my ticket but now I can’t go. We’re sorry to hear that. Unfortunately all tickets are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and non-transferable.
Performance FAQs
Are all the shows appropriate for me? We believe that all of our productions are appropriate for patrons that are 15 years old and up. However, we understand that some patrons may not appreciate profanity, nudity or other adult content. Use the MyStage Guide to find out if any productions you are interested in contain this kind of content and whether or not the show is appropriate for you.
Where are the performances? All performances are at South Coast Repertory, located at 655 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
Performance parking is available for $10 in nearby parking structures and is not included when you purchase your MyStage ticket. No validation is available. Price is subject to change without notice.
What should I wear to a performance? You can dress casual or fancy. Just remember, you’re attending the theatre!
Can I bring my cell phone? Yes. We just ask that you turn it off during the performance. But during intermission, before or after the performance, feel free to check-in on Four Square, Facebook places or Google Plus. Tweet about the show or take pictures with your friends in the lobby or terrace. Please, no photographs or video during the performance.
Can I bring my pager? You’re 15 – 25 and you know what a pager is? Well, you can bring it; just remember to turn it off during the performance.
MyStage Event FAQs
What are MyStage events? For select productions, we host an event prior to a performance for MyStage members to meet and mingle with each other. Members will also get to chat with one of SCR’s artisans, who will talk about the cool stuff they do at the theatre. Free food and drink are served.
When are MyStage events? MyStage events are on select performance dates. To be notified of MyStage events, you must be signed up as a MyStage member.
How do I sign up to attend a MyStage event? Instructions on how to RSVP will be sent via e-mail to MyStage members only.
Can everyone attend MyStage events? MyStage events are restricted to members who are 18 years old and older, as well as their guests.
