MAJOR GIFTS OFFICER – South Coast Repertory (SCR) is seeking a Major Gifts Officer (MGO) to join our six-person Development team. This position is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding relationships with mid-level donors and corporate partners. This frontline officer oversees a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and corporate sponsors, ensuring personalized engagement strategies to drive philanthropic support for SCR’s annual $3.3 million Annual Fund. The MGO supports SCR’s mission, strategic goals, and Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging core values through their commitment to strengthening donor relations, devising creative solutions for new donor cultivation, and championing SCR’s artistic endeavors with the community. FACILITIES & OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE - South Coast Repertory’s Facilities & Operations Associate is a key member of the Operations team, acting in support of the Facilities & Operations Manager in the care of our theatre. This position balances between administrative duties, building upkeep, and special event or production facility needs. The Facilities & Operations Associate supports SCR’s mission, strategic goals, and Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging core values through their commitment to ensuring all facilities are inviting, safe, functional, and accessible for staff, guest artists, and patrons. ELECTRICIAN/LIGHT BOARD OPERATOR - South Coast Repertory is seeking an Electrician/Light Board Operator to join our Lighting team, working closely with the Lighting Supervisor. This position is integral to the successful mounting of each of our mainstage, second stage, and Conservatory series productions. A great fit for this role means you enjoy creative problem-solving and are eager to be hands-on with a diverse programming season. This role includes running a followspot or the light board for shows and leadership responsibilities overseeing crews through load-in and strike processes. WIG, HAIR, & MAKEUP TECHNICIANS – South Coast Repertory is continuously accepting applications for Wig, Hair, & Makeup Technician crew members to help run our shows. General requirements include backstage experience, hair styling skills, makeup application skills, reliability, and strong people skills. Wig & facial hair experience is a plus, but we’re happy to teach necessary skills as needed. Wig, Hair, & Makeup Technicians are hired on a show-to-show basis with typical shows running 4-5 weeks and occasional sub coverage. Pay is $20/hr plus paid parking. SCENIC ARTIST OVERHIRE – South Coast Repertory is seeking experienced Scenic Artists to join our overhire pool for our 25/26 season. These positions require a range of skills: layout, color matching and mixing, cartooning, sculpting, faux finishes, detail painting techniques, and experience with spray equipment. Fine art background and experience working in a fast paced shop environment are a plus. Overhires are hired on a project to project basis, $20/hr. PROP ARTISAN OVERHIRESouth Coast Repertory is continuously accepting experienced Prop Artisans to join our overhire pool. Desired skills include (but not limited too): carpentry, craft skills, furniture building and restoration, upholstery, stitching, painting, metal working, and welding. General requirements include applicable training or equivalent professional experience in the field, being comfortable working at heights, ability to lift 50 pounds, with strong communication and collaborative skills. COSTUME SHOP OVERHIRES – The costume shop is continuously accepting applications for multiple roles. These part-time, temporary positions are filled on a show to show basis, which can vary from two to eight week engagements. Please note housing is not provided for these roles. TICKET SERVICES DIRECTOR – South Coast Repertory (SCR) is seeking a Ticket Services Director to lead the Box Office team, which includes two full-time Associate Ticket Services Directors, part-time Ticket Services Leads, and Representatives. This position is integral for stewarding relationships and fostering loyalty with SCR’s patrons through engaging with ticket buyers and building a culture of exceptional quality customer service. Through SCR’s integrated database, Tessitura, the Ticket Services Director plays a key role in the customer research and data analysis functions that inform subscription and single ticket campaigns. As a SCR Tessitura super-user, this role also works interdepartmentally to spread awareness of the database’s customer relationship management features, provide training and support, and assist with data gathering solutions. TICKET SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE - South Coast Repertory is seeking a part-time Ticket Services Representative to support the Box Office team. These positions engage with patrons in-person and over the phone to facilitate ticket sales for our 8-show season, conservatory programming, and various events. The Ticket Services Representative supports SCR’s mission, strategic goals, and Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging core values through their commitment to providing excellent customer service to that results in returning patrons, renewed subscriptions, and elevated relationships with donors.
