Can I exchange my South Coast Repertory tickets for a different date?

Yes. You may exchange your tickets for another date or time of the same production, pending availability and the type of subscription you hold. Exchanges are available by phone at (714) 708-5599 or in person at the SCR Box Office.

How many fee-free ticket exchanges do subscribers get?

It depends on your subscription type. Whole Season, Segerstrom, Argyros, and Theatre for Young Audiences Subscribers receive unlimited fee-free ticket exchanges. Flex Subscribers receive two (2) fee-free exchanges per season. Create Your Own Subscribers receive one (1) fee-free exchange per season. In all cases, you pay only the difference in ticket price, if any.

Can single ticket holders exchange their tickets?

Yes. Single tickets may be exchanged up to 4 hours prior to show time and are subject to a $5-per-ticket service fee, plus any difference in the price of the new tickets.

How do I exchange my tickets by phone?

Call the SCR Subscriber and Family Fun Membership Hotline at (714) 708-5599. Please have your tickets in hand when you call, as they contain important information needed to process the exchange.

How do I exchange my tickets in person?

Bring your tickets to the SCR Box Office. To ensure all performances start on time, exchanges cannot be processed later than 30 minutes prior to the earliest curtain. However, tickets will be accepted at show time for processing later.

Can I choose my seat location when I exchange tickets?

Specific seat locations cannot be guaranteed when exchanging tickets, but SCR makes every effort to provide comparable seating.

Are all tickets eligible for exchange?

No. Some vouchers and special offers are non-exchangeable. Contact the Box Office at (714) 708-5555 for details about your specific tickets.

If you exchange for a higher-priced ticket, you will be charged the difference, which is due at the time of exchange. If you exchange for a less-expensive ticket, the balance is non-refundable. Discounts may not be available on all dates or in all seating locations.

Unable to attend your scheduled performance? Ticket exchanges are available for alternate dates or times within the same production only—exchanges into a different production are not permitted. Exchanges are subject to availability and your subscription type.
