Play Submission Procedures

Playwrights with professional representation may have their agents send full manuscripts to the literary department at any time. (For this purpose, lawyers and/or law firms do not qualify as "professional representation.") Please note that SCR is unable to accept unsolicited manuscripts from unrepresented playwrights. While there is no specific deadline for submission of plays to be considered for the Pacific Playwrights Festival, plays submitted after Dec. 1 are not likely to be considered for inclusion in the upcoming festival. Reading for NewSCRipts and season consideration takes place year-round.
