What's the catch when I sign up for MyStage?
None! We know budgets are real. That's why MyStage is SCR's free membership program for ages 15–25, offering $12 tickets (fees included)—saving up to 80% off regular prices—plus exclusive events, making it easier to experience live theatre.

What if I'm 14 or 26 years old—am I eligible for MyStage?
MyStage is available to ages 15–25. Your membership activates during the season you turn 15 and remains active through the season in which you turn 25. If you turn 26 during the season, it will be your final season to enjoy MyStage benefits.

I stopped receiving MyStage emails. How do I renew my membership?

Ticketing FAQs

How many tickets may I purchase?
Each MyStage member may purchase up to two (2) MyStage tickets per performance. Your guest may be any age, but the MyStage member must attend the performance.

How do I purchase $12* MyStage tickets?
Once your personal account is created, you will begin receiving your MyStage newsletter every other Thursday, along with your exclusive promo code. If you would like to purchase tickets immediately, please call the box office, and an associate will be happy to create a MyStage account for you.

  • ONLINE: Enter the MyStage promo code, found in your MyStage email, before choosing seats.
  • PHONE: Call (714) 708-5555 during box office hours.
  • IN PERSON: Walk up to the Box Office.

SCR accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover; cash and checks are accepted only at the SCR Box Office.

My guest is not 15 to 25 years old; are they still able to use my second ticket?
Yes. MyStage members ages 15 to 25 must purchase a ticket and attend the show, but they may use their second ticket for a guest of any age.

Are all performances eligible for MyStage tickets?
MyStage tickets are available for most performances on the Segerstrom Stage, Julianne Argyros Stage and Nicholas Studio, including select performances of A Christmas Carol. MyStage tickets are not available for Opening Nights or SCR Presents performances (such as Laura Benanti and Hershey Felder). Availability varies by production and performance.

Are these tickets only for bad seats?
Not at all! MyStage tickets are available in Sections A and B. All of our theatres are intimate, so you'll enjoy a great view from almost every seat.

When do I purchase tickets?
MyStage tickets become available approximately 1 month before the first preview performance of a production. MyStage emails will remind you when tickets go on sale and the promotional code you need to purchase them.

When do I get my tickets?
You may pick up your MyStage tickets no earlier than two (2) hours before performance time. You will need to bring a valid ID to pick up tickets at the Box Office.

Why can't I pick up my actual tickets earlier?
We can't wait to welcome you! MyStage tickets are available for pickup beginning two (2) hours before your performance. The MyStage member must be present to pick up the tickets and attend the performance. This helps keep the program fair for everyone.

I purchased my ticket, but now I can't go.
We understand—schedules change! You may exchange single tickets for another date or time of the same production, pending availability up to 48 hours before the date on the ticket. Note that exchanges are subject to a $5-per-ticket service fee, plus any difference in ticket prices.

Performance FAQs

How do I know that a show is appropriate for me to see?
We understand that some patrons may not appreciate profanity, nudity or other adult content. Use the 2026-27 Season page to check out show recommendations. You may also email us with any additional questions.

Where do the performances take place?
All performances are at South Coast Repertory, located at 655 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.

Do I have to pay for parking?
Yes, there's a fee for parking in a garage near the theatre. Performance parking is available for $15 in nearby parking structures and is not included with your MyStage ticket. No validation is available. Price is subject to change without notice. SCR does not own or operate the parking structures.

What should I wear to a performance?
That's totally up to you—dress casual or fancy! Some people wear casual, others dress up.

May I bring my cell phone?
Absolutely! We encourage you to unplug and enjoy the live theatre experience. Please silence and put away your phone before the performance begins. Feel free to take photos in public spaces before the show, during intermission, and after the performance, but photography, video and audio recording aren't permitted during the performance. MyStage Event FAQs

What are MyStage events?
For select productions, we host an event before the performance for MyStage members to meet and mingle. Members will also get to chat with one of SCR's artisans, who will talk about the cool stuff they do at the theatre. Free food and drink are served.

When are MyStage events?
MyStage events are held on select performance dates and mostly take place at the theatre. To be notified of MyStage events, you must be signed up as a MyStage member.

How do I sign up to attend a MyStage event?
Instructions for RSVPing will be sent via email to MyStage members only.

Can everyone attend MyStage events?
MyStage events are restricted to members aged 18 or older and their guests.
