Package Information for Industry Guests

Thank you for joining us at the Pacific Playwrights Festival. We look forward to welcoming you to Orange County!

You'll be experiencing the most the festival has to offer through your industry package, and the important information below will help you prepare for your visit. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact Artistic Coordinator Rob Salas at [email protected] or at (714) 708-5517.

Hotel

Our official hotel is the Costa Mesa Marriott, located behind South Coast Repertory. PPF industry guests may book reservations at the special festival room rate of $152 a night online or by calling (714) 957-1100. Be sure to book by April 15 to get this special rate.

South Coast Repertory is also within walking distance to a number of other hotels. For convenience, below is a list of area hotels for out of town festival guests.

Transportation

We recommend flying into John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, only a few miles from the theatre. Please note that the Costa Mesa Marriott does not provide a shuttle service to and from the airport, but both Uber and Lyft are readily available and can pick up and drop off at the Santa Ana airport.

Uber, Lyft and taxis may also be used if you fly into Long Beach or LAX. Travel time from Long Beach is typically 40-90 minutes and from LAX one to two hours, depending on time of day and traffic. Shuttle rides may be booked at shuttletolax.com.

Parking

If you are driving to the festival, parking is available in the structure nearest to South Coast Repertory (the Park Tower garage at 660 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa) at a rate of $20 per day. Please note that there are no in/out privileges.

When You Arrive

When you arrive at the theatre, please pick up your ticket and name badge from the industry professionals registration table located on Ela's Terrace in front of the Box Office. Please note that industry guests with a full package will receive a single composite that can be used for most PPF events.

If you are delayed and arrive after the first reading on Friday begins, you can pick up your festival ticket and name badge at the Box Office. (If you are picking up your tickets at the Box Office, please identify yourself as an industry professional.)

Your Name Badge

We received your name badge information when you purchased your tickets. However, if you need to update that information for any reason, you may resubmit the form here.

Meals

The full package includes all festival meals, including our Playwrights Dinner on Friday evening, where we’ll be joined by all of the festival artists and creative teams. Your package also includes admission to the PPF Bash on Saturday, following the evening performances.
