Group Ticket FAQs

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM GROUP SIZE?
All you need are at least 10 people to qualify as a group.

MAY I BRING MY CHILDREN?
Yes! Just note that, without exception, each audience member (children, included) must have a ticket to be admitted. No babes-in-arms are allowed to our performances. No children under age six (6) will be admitted to regular performances, including A Christmas Carol; no children under age four (4) will be admitted to Theatre for Young Audiences and Junior and Teen Players performances. Regardless of age, everyone must have a ticket, sit in a seat and be able to sit quietly through the performance. Check with the Box Office for our age recommendations for each show.

MAY I RECEIVE A REFUND IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR MAKE A CHANGE IN MY ORDER?
If a change to your order occurs after a deposit has been paid, an adjustment to the final payment will reflect the added or subtracted seats. Group orders must contain a minimum of 10 people to qualify for the group discount. Once final payment is received, there are no refunds and no exchanges.

DO YOU OFFER A PAYMENT PLAN?
SCR is happy to work with you if you need payment options. We typically ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking and final payment 30 days prior to the performance date. Please contact the box office at (714) 708-5555 to discuss payment plan options.

MAY I CHANGE MY ORDER?
Yes! Group orders may be adjusted until the final payment. However, once a deposit or final payment has been received, there are no cancellations or refunds.

You may add additional seats after you have finalized your order with no additional service charge. Orders placed 30 days before a performance must be paid in full at the time of reservation.

DO ALL THE SEATS HAVE TO BE FOR THE SAME PERFORMANCE TO QUALIFY AS A GROUP PURCHASE?
Yes, to qualify as a group purchase, all tickets must be for the same performance date and time.

MAY ANYONE IN MY GROUP ADJUST MY ORDER?
For your protection, only the group leader —or someone you, as the group leader, have designated on your account is authorized to make adjustments.

If you have someone who will be assisting you—such as a co-chair, secretary/assistant, spouse/partner, relative or co-worker and you would like them to be able to modify your seats or make a payment—provide us with their name and we will add them to your account.

HOW SOON WILL I GET MY GROUP TICKETS?
You may pick up your group tickets once payment is made in full; this excludes student tickets. For your convenience, your tickets may also be held at the Will Call until your scheduled performance.

DO HOME SCHOOLS QUALIFY FOR STUDENT MATINEES?
Yes, home schools do qualify for student matinees. The same requirement applies: your home school group must have a minimum of 10 theatregoers to qualify for a group discount.

MAY I HAVE MY GROUP TICKETS MAILED TO ME?
Yes! Once your payment is made in full, we will be happy to mail your tickets to you. If you are part of a school group, you first need to complete the ticket manifest, which will list the row and number of each seat. Once you have completed the ticket manifest by assigning a student to each seat and have returned it to the theatre, your tickets will be mailed to you. Tickets are not issued for Student Matinee performances.

IS PARKING FREE? / WHERE DO WE PARK?
The most convenient, secure parking is available in the garage structure off of Anton and Town Center Drive, across from The Westin South Coast Plaza hotel. A $15 parking charge will be collected as you enter. Please note that the parking structure is not owned or operated by South Coast Repertory. Due to the large number of restaurants and attractions in the area, we recommend allowing an extra 30 minutes for parking. Additional parking information can be found here.

HOW LONG IS THE PERFORMANCE?
The length of a show may vary during previews, right up until Opening Night, with the range being between 90 minutes to two-and-a-half hours. We recommend that you call the Box Office—(714) 708-5555—as close to your scheduled performance as possible for the most accurate run time.

WILL MY STUDENTS STILL BE SEATED IF THEY ARE LATE?
Yes, as long as there is late seating for the production. If you have the individual's ticket, and that person is running late, please give the ticket to the House Manager, who will accommodate the late guest accordingly.
