Julianne Argyros Stage

About the Julianne Argyros Stage

The Julianne Argyros Stage is SCR's 336-seat second stage, home to some of our most intimate and adventurous productions each season. The house has four seating levels — Orchestra, Mezzanine, Balcony, and Box — each with its own character and sightlines.

The Levels

The Orchestra is the main floor, closest to the stage, with rows lettered A through H. This is the P (premium) price section, along with Balcony row AA.

The Mezzanine sits above and behind the Orchestra in rows J, K and L.

The Balcony is the uppermost level with three rows of seating, AA, BB and CC.

The Boxes are intimate side seating areas flanking the stage. Boxes A and C are closest to the stage, and boxes B and D are farther back.

Seat Numbering: In all sections, seat numbers start at 101 on the left side of the house and increase as you move to the right.

Stairs:  Mezzanine Row J is at ground level and does not require stairs. All other rows in the Orchestra and Mezzanine require approximately 2 small steps for each row up or down from Row J. In the Balcony, Box D and Row AA can be accessed via elevator without stairs. All other rows and boxes require stairs. Contact the Box Office at (714) 708-5555 for exact stair counts and descriptions.

Accessible Seating Wheelchair-accessible spaces (marked W) are available in the Orchestra and via elevator to Box D. The elevator is located on the audience's right and serves the Lobby, Orchestra, Mezzanine, Box, and Balcony levels. Stairs are available on either side of the auditorium. For assistance with accessible seating, please contact the Box Office at (714) 708-5555.

Finding Your Seat: Your ticket will show your level (Orchestra, Mezzanine, Balcony, or Box), your row letter, and your seat number. Ushers are stationed at each entrance and are happy to point you in the right direction.

Questions? Our Box Office is happy to help—by phone at (714) 708-5555, Tuesday through Sunday, noon to 6 p.m. (or showtime).
