Meet “The Old Man and The Old Moon” Honorary Producers

A devoted lineup of theatre fans with extensive ties to SCR returns as Honorary Producers for the Outside SCR production of The Old Man and The Old Moon.

Honorary Producers are the unseen heroes behind SCR productions. They underwrite the shows, providing the funding support for the world-class talent you see on SCR stages. 

Apriem Advisors (Season Producer) returns for a fourth consecutive year as Season Producers of Outside SCR. Apriem also served as Honorary Producer for Prelude to a Kiss, The Musical this season and has an impressive record of supporting Theatre for Young Audience productions. Co-Founder Harmon Kong and his wife, Lea, an SCR Board Trustee, are passionate supporters of bold and creative initiatives that exemplify the magic of theatre. Michael Ray (Season Producer), an early advocate for Outside SCR since its 2021 debut, serves as Season Producer of Outside SCR for a fourth year in a row. He has been an ardent SCR supporter since 2013 and an energetic ambassador for SCR in the community. Over the past decade, he has served as Honorary Producer on five mainstage productions, including this season’s Prelude to a Kiss, The Musical, as well as What I Learned in Paris (2022), She Loves Me (2020) and M. Butterfly (2019). In addition, he served as Honorary Producer on this season’s Hershey Felder as George Gershwin Alone, Felder’s first engagement at SCR. He joined the theatre’s Board of Trustees in 2018 and currently serves as the Vice President of Advancement. Ray is a First Nights subscriber and Co-Chaired SCR’s Gala in 2021.

Susan Shieldkret & David Dull (Honorary Producers) are proud to serve as Honorary Producers of The Old Man and The Old Moon, their fourth year in a row of underwriting Outside SCR productions. Shieldkret and Dull previously have underwritten several world premieres, including The Canadians (2019), and as members of the Playwrights Circle, Sheepdog (2019) and Little Black Shadows (2018). First Nights subscribers on both stages, they began attending shows at SCR in 2003 and have been Platinum Circle donors since 2016. Shieldkret, a member of the SCR Board of Trustees, served as SCR Gala Co-Chair in 2020, and currently chairs the Circles Committee.
